Pooja units and mandirs

Pooja units are made in solid teak with carved detailing, sized to the niche or the wall you have. We build in the practical parts people forget — a drawer for lamps and camphor, a shelf at the right height, a concealed light that flatters the idols rather than glaring off them, and a marble or granite base that can actually be wiped clean.

False ceiling and lighting

Gypsum and POP ceilings do more than hide wiring and ducting — they are how you get layered light into a room. We plan the ceiling and the lighting together: cove lighting for a soft general wash, profile lights for a cleaner modern line, and spots placed over the things worth lighting rather than dotted evenly across the room.

Partitions that divide without closing

In an open-plan flat you often want separation without losing light. Timber jaali screens, louvred partitions and framed glass all divide a space while keeping it open — between living and dining, around a pooja area, or to make a work corner out of a bedroom. We match the timber and finish to the rest of the joinery.

Common questions

What wood is used for a pooja unit?
Solid teak is the usual choice — it carves cleanly, lasts and takes polish well. The base is normally marble or granite so it can be wiped down.
Do you do the false ceiling lighting as well?
We plan the ceiling and the lighting layout together, including cove and profile lighting, and coordinate with your electrician for the wiring.
What partition options are there?
Timber jaali screens, louvred partitions and framed glass — all of which divide a space while still letting light through.
