What WPC actually is

WPC — Wood-Plastic Composite — is wood flour bound in a polymer matrix. It machines, screws and finishes much like timber, but because there is no open grain for water to travel through, it does not swell, rot, delaminate or feed termites. In a Bengaluru bathroom that is the difference between a door that lasts and one you replace in three years.

Where it belongs — and where it does not

Use WPC for bathroom and washroom doors and frames, balcony and utility doors, and anywhere a wall stays damp. We are honest about the limits: for a heavy carved main door, seasoned teak still looks and feels better, and we will tell you so rather than sell you the wrong material.

Finishes and boards

WPC takes laminate, veneer, PU and duco, so it can be matched to the timber doors elsewhere in the house. Beyond doors we supply WPC boards and sections used for kitchen carcasses, wardrobe internals and vanity units — the same waterproof advantage, applied to furniture that sits against wet walls.

Common questions

Is a WPC door really waterproof?
Yes. WPC has no open grain for water to travel through, so it does not swell or delaminate — which is why it is the standard choice for bathroom doors.
Does WPC look like wood?
On its own it looks like a moulded board. Finished in laminate, veneer or PU it can be matched closely to the timber doors elsewhere in the house.
Is WPC cheaper than teak?
Generally yes, and it needs far less maintenance. For a main door, though, most customers still prefer solid teak for the look and the weight.
